cvs update - ssh key problem ?

I'm sure my linux foo is somewhat depleted... what's going on here:

[davidt at davidtdesktop cvs-free]$ cvs update
Agent admitted failure to sign using the key.
Permission denied (publickey).
cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if
any)

Thought the fas generated cert might have expired, so got a new one
replacing the existing ~/.rpmfusion.cert file, no change.

Tried relogin/reboot, no change.

I've recently updated to F18 from F17. Any hints ?
