On this item: if you use System Tools|Software to install a package, as it
completes, it offers to "Run new application ?", which seems to run the
installed program (eg Extreme Tuxracer). Maybe having gui that can show
info/license, and start install, check (eg md5sum verify), and uninstall would
be rather obvious; given you probably want GUI fonts to use in a GUI, and might
be installing said extra package from the GUI ;-)
