I tried both lpf-0-11.c885df3.fc19 and lpf-0-12.1478565.fc19 the following way
   - remove all lpf* packages from the system
   - wipe out the remaining files in /var/lib (why are there files remaining
here when the packages are removed from the system? possibly improper
directory/file ownerships?)
   - install the new lpf version
   - build the above lpf-skype SRPM with the new lpf version that was installed
in the previous step
   - install the just built lpf-skype
   - do $ lpf update, and hit OK

This gives the same error I reported above
   error: Architecture is not included: x86_64

Neither the manpage nor the README files provide sufficient/relevant
information to resolve the issue.
