Distribute systemd preset file for services enabled by default?

One of the issues with akmods as of late is that systemd seems to be
ignoring commands in the %post scripts to enable a service and only paying
attention to the preset file distributed by Fedora.

I don't intend to file a FESCO ticket to get akmods added since it doesn't
reside in Fedora.

I believe the "simple" solution to this problem is to distribute a systemd
preset file which includes akmods as enabled by default.

Thoughts?
Thanks,
Richard
