<br></div>Also, this driver has seen some fixes wrt conflicting resolution with the default framebuffer.<br>Please verify that on this update:<br></div><div>- You have the matching nvidia kernel module (modinfo -F version nvidia output 304.88)<br>
</div>- You do not have any /dev/fb*<br></div></div>- You don't override ModulePath without reason in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d(so you are using the right nvidia libglx.so)<br></div><div>- You boot using GRUB_LINUX_PAYLOAD=text and don't have GFXPAYLOAD set to any resolution<br>
</div>- nouveau isn't loaded by default (lsmod |grep nouveau) or at least it can be unloaded using rmmod nouveau.<br><br></div><div>Also to be solved before the F-17 EOL and F-19 is the nvidia-settings legacy that will rebase the 173xx to this new packaging scheme:<br>
