default rompath in mame and mess 0.154 has changed

Prior to 0.154, the default rompath and mame and mess were
/usr/share/mame/roms/ and /usr/share/mess/roms/ , resp. These dirs
currently belong to the mame-data package, suggesting they are intended
to be used. However, in 0.154, the mame and mess man pages indicate that
the default rompath is now a dir called "roms" in the same directory as
the corresponding executable (meaning they both now default to
/usr/bin/roms/ , which doesn't seem sane). I see no bug in
bugzilla.rpmfusion.org. Is this a bug, or is the user expected to
specify the rompath now?
