the akmod-nvidia will not work under kernel with version 4.0.7 for Fedora22

For me, Fedora 22, Nvidia card.
When it fails, switch to a terminal. Log in as root
#akmods --force

Solved it for me.

A suggestion (not for Gnome, but KDE) was to use the gui update
method.  Might be worth trying if it happens again?
