The only thing of gnome I even run is nautilus, which is better than the other file managers I have tried, even if it is difficult to modify, or discover how you can even modify (mostly due to older versions confusing things). For everything else I use OpenBox, with lxpanels or xfce-panel, launched from a scripted, xsession.

Basically My biggest issue with gnome has been lack of detailed documentation. http://rpmfusion.org/Howto/nVidia#Uninstall_the_nvidia_driver ? Why is
it that difficult ?
The nvidia driver is currently not compatible with f25+ xorg-server.
So you need to fallback to using nouveau which should works fine with
GNOME is any cases.

I woudl have tought even recent hardware not accelerated by nouveau
should work fine with llvmpipe http://www.mesa3d.org/llvmpipe.html ,
but that might not be the case.
(it wasn't confirmed when I've asked on #nouveau freenodes).

thx
