rpmfusion-free-rawhide repos broken/invalid repodata?

Well, closer, but no cigar ;)

When not touching /etc/yum.repos.d/*.repo, yum continues to expose the
broken behavior (seemingly it continues using it's (broken) cache).

When changing the *.repo to using baseurl=download1.... instead
of mirrorlist=... yum starts complaining
Not using downloaded repomd.xml because it is older than what we have:
  Current   : Thu Nov   6 14:00:19 2008
  Downloaded: Thu Nov   6 14:00:14 2008

When deleting /var/cache/yum/rpmfusion-free-rawhide/*, things appear
functional again.
