Yes, packages that weren't already updated need a rebuild.

I guess we need a mass rebuild for the package that weren't rebuild
recently anyway.

ps: I haven't had time to test rebuild mplayer. I will give a try at
lunch time today.
If it can pass without a tweak, then good for now.
