Odd. But the real solution afaics then is to let the initscript make sure that
the directory is there -- otherwise drag'n'drop will fail once somebody did "rm
-rf /tmp/*" (tmpwatch or similar cleanup scripts might delete the directory as
well)

Not sure if diverging from upstream is worth the trouble; it might create more
problems (and confusion) then it solves

Just to make sure: Users via mount.vmhgfs do not gain access to standard block
devices (and their contents) that they normally have no access to?
