I have a proposal. Comments welcome.

Instead of trying to package it as a diff against the Fedora version, which
means two different maintainers trying to stay in sync, why not just provide a
stand alone package with ffmpeg enabled and have it conflict with the Fedora
package?

I already maintain my own blender package with the cycles rendering engine
which I could submit, or I could submit the current 2.60a release.
