yes... there is a longer excerpt in comment #11. My understanding is that to
comply this GL the repo should distributed e. g., in /usr/share/doc directory
and copied to /etc/yum.repos.d after user verifying this. Given that
system-config-repo (s-c-r) is in place it could work like this:
- The repo file is installed under /usr/share/s-c-r/repos/
- A comment-only stub file is installed in /etc/yum.repos.d
- A cli user finds info on the repo file in the stub.
- When invoking system-config-user on the stub, user can install the file, a
simple yes/no dialog.
Do you think something like this would be acceptable?
