urgent MythTV crashes after installing Nvidia drivers

Yes I think it was crashing when trying to use OpenGL, I did a couple of things which seem 
to fix it but not sure what exactly fixed it.

1. I un-installed them I tried to go back to atrpms but was missing a kmdl so ended up 
re-installing rpm fusion again

2. installed latest Kernel
3. some process has cleared out my xorg.conf

after those two actions I seem be back to normal.. phew.. nearly was without TV playback 
minus WAF could have been ugly..

But I see the Nvidia HOWTO needs some updating to explain the akmod process when kernel 
version changes,  and some of the commands didn't work..

but I think its all good now..

Interestingly I'm running at a higher resolution now (1920 x 1080) where before I think I 
was running 720p so I don't know which is best..
