how much "slightly" and less work for whom?

oh, I don't really need the answers ... just do what is the best 
for those who care about the infrastructure; I, as an ordinary 
(and lazy :-) packager, will adapt as needed - at worst, soemone 
will have to kick me via e-mail to fix something
