why was that behavior changed?
in the past the akmod builds happended *while reboot*
some years ago as i had crap hardware needing that...
The akmods package includes both a service that will run on startup and
on shutdown but they are not enabled by default
well, that's clearly a bug
given how many users all the time are trapped by the same problems and
the whole purpose of the akmod-nvidia package is not breaking video
after each and every kernel update for noob users it's pointless that
the need to type "akmods --force" all the time
