I'm not an expert in this but I do follow the nvidia driver development
thread a bit. My understanding is that the current release of the
driver dose not work well with Xwayland.

I'm not sure if the above link is of any relevance. I'm holding off
going to Fedora 25 until Nvidia and the wayland folk are happy.
