Hi: I have F40 and kde on two boxes with nvidia cards that worked well with 470xx in F38 and before. A post on the fedora-kde list suggested switching to nouveau, and one box works acceptably for me with that. But the other, dual-boot with Windows 10, seemed to give only a fixed 800*600 window and no HDMI audio. I've reinstalled the updated 470xx drivers. Now I get two screens (tv and vga monitor) with their native resolutions, but very high CPU loads from kwin_wayland that make the system unusable. I hope there's a fix.
