I had to make it against the Centos kernel without major problems. It works nice since then. The only problem is that I need to rebuild it after every centos kernel update. I use a "Cinergy C PCI HD"-card.

You can have a look on the kernel-doc package, there is a perl script for this. (get_dvb_firmware IIRC). Of course having the name of the driver you are using for your device would help (lsmod output). Nicolas (kwizart)
