rpmfusion non-free breakdown and when I tried the command in my terminal
dnf clean packages nothing happened. What is going on?

what's going on?
you rely on binary blobs, the external packages you need can not be
always in sync with Fedora which recently updated mesa - you need to
wait or buy hardware which works out-of-the-box

He is trying to tell you not to use the nVidia drivers and/or hardware.
He is suggesting you should stick with nouveau for nVidia or use
non-nVidia HW.

That's all well and good but I run a VM that doesn't work to good
without them. Maybe one day nouveau will have provided drivers that will

than just don't always jump to the newest Fedora release - there is no
valid reason to run F25 currently when you can't cope with temporary
dependency problems

I am not complaining just reporting. I thought that is what this was all
about. I have been using fedora for over 12 years and have come to
understand and appreciate all that they do to give their best. Your
comment is the reason I don't post too much because I am not
argumentative or opinionated. To each his own.

Just do,
dnf --enablerepo rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing update
and it will work out.

Thank you it was turned back on this morning without my help. My real
issue was not being able to install nvidia drivers because of a
transaction error listed below on my other entry.

These sort of things happen from time to time and get sorted out fairly
