I just had time to import it now. Unluckily it fails because it seems
I do not have write access to that CVS module.

Audacious 2.2 heads-up
by Michael Schwendt
Hi!
Here are a couple of items I've noticed while evaluating Audacious 2.2
development (in F-13 devel since September), which affect the -freeworld
plugins package:
* plugins removed: alac, tta
* plugins added: ffaudio
(that also obsoletes the Musepack plugin)
* new build requirements: faad2-devel, ffmpeg-devel
* potentially useful as a subpackage: sidplay2 plugin
(then the sidplay1 "sid.so" in Fedora could be split off, too!)
* plugin packages built for Audacious 2.1 are not compatible with
Audacious 2.2 (API check fails during load)

Description:
Tivo 4 Tiny is a GNOME desktop app that allows you to download shows from your
networked Tivo onto your Linux desktop or laptop machine. Tivo 4 Tiny includes
integrated conversion so you can take the shows with you on your iPod,
BlackBerry Curve, etc.
It should work with any Tivo that has Home Networking capabilities (v2, v3, or
HD). The goal of this project is to provide a usable, useful utility for the
Linux desktop which provides similar features to the "Tivo Desktop" Windows/Mac
app which Tivo does not support on Linux.

Why not Fedora? Depends on tivodecode, ffmpeg, mencoder

Review swaps
by Hans de Goede
Hi,
As faac has moved to nonfree, I've been getting requests to
create a package with the plugins in gstreamer-plugins-bad,
which depend upon nonfree libraries.
I've done so know, see:
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015
It is a really simple package, and I would like to swap
reviews for it, so if anyone is looking for a review of one
of his packages and wants to review this, let me know.
Regards,
Hans

mirrorlist server outage
by Adrian Reber
Both networks the mirrorlist servers are located in will be off line
tomorrow for up to ten hours. I was just informed about this outage,
sorry that I was not able to announce it earlier.
This means that any access to the mirrorlist will probably result in
a timeout.

spec and srpm attached!
This package contains software for transcoding video files to smaller, more
suitable format for watching them using tablet devices.
Tablet-encode is not suitable for Fedora as it needs mencoder as dependency.

lame-3.98.2-3.fc11.x86_64
k3b-1.0.5-10.fc12.x86_64
mp3(lame) encoding always fails. Debugging info from k3b is not very
informative. Using all default settings.
k3b reports no problems with system.
ogg-vorbis encoding works fine.

CA certificates missing from website
by Jack Neely
Folks,
The links on the wiki page PlagueUsage to download the
.rpmfusion-upload-ca.cert and .rpmfusion-server-ca.cert return HTTP 404
errors.
I'm unable to submit build requests without the CAs. Would someone please
take a look at fixing those links?
Thanks,
Jack Neely
