Description:
MLT is an open source multimedia framework, designed
and developed for television broadcasting.
It provides a toolkit for broadcasters, video editors,
media players, transcoders, web streamers and many more
types of applications. The functionality of the system
is provided via an assortment of ready to use tools,
xml authoring components, and an extendible plug-in
based API.
This package hardly depend on ffmpeg library (without them is mostly useless),
so this is the main reason why I put them here.
rpmlint - mlt
--------------
mlt.i386: W: shared-lib-calls-exit /usr/lib/libmiracle.so.0.3.7 exit(a)GLIBC_2.0
mlt.x86_64: W: shared-lib-calls-exit /usr/lib64/libmiracle.so.0.3.7
exit(a)GLIBC_2.2.5
8 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 2 warnings.
This warning will be removed by the author of MLT source in next release (for
two weeks from now)
No more warnings in source and binary RPMs.
Package tested with mock for i386 and x86_64 architectures.
This is one of my first packages on RPM Fusion.
On Fedora I put four packages last month. But I'm not yet sponsored there, so I
seeking for sponsor here.
kind regards,
Zarko

SPEC: ftp://ftp.zouric.com/public/paintdotnet/paintdotnet.spec

ftp://ftp.zouric.com/public/paintdotnet/paintdotnet-0.1-0.1.63svn.fc10.sr...
Description:
Paint.NET is an image and photo editing software. It features an intuitive and
innovative user interface with support for layers, unlimited undo, special
effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools. An active and growing
online community provides friendly help, tutorials, and plugins.
Not eligible to Fedora: from fedora wishlist:
# paint-mono - An unofficial effort to port Paint.NET 3.0 to Linux using Mono
- Cannot be included since Paint is partly licensed under a non-commercial
license
RPM Lint:
$ rpmlint ../SRPMS/paintdotnet-0.1-0.1.63svn.fc10.src.rpm

This is a mono package and thus rpmlint expectedly reports no-binary and
only-non-binary-in-usr-lib errors
Please note that the paintdotnet.desktop file refers to an icon that does not
seem to display properly upon package installation. Can anybody take a look at
this issue and propose a fix?

Rough times: Preparing for buildsys for F11
by Thorsten Leemhuis
Hi!
I'm doing some preparation for F11 branching (maybe Xavier and I might
even finish it today). So if something is not working please be a bit
patient and retry a bit later; If problems remain for longer please let
me know -- preferred via IRC in this case, as that might reduce
communication to "there is a problem foo" "we know, please be patient,
we are working on it" ;-)

Description:
Qtractor is an Audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer application written in C++
around the Qt4 toolkit using Qt Designer. The initial target platform will be
Linux, where the Jack Audio Connection Kit (JACK) for audio, and the Advanced
Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) for MIDI, are the main infrastructures to
evolve as a fairly-featured Linux Desktop Audio Workstation GUI, specially
dedicated to the personal home-studio.

Erasing these directories, which contain source code, messes up the debuginfo
package.
Why rpmfusion:
This one depends on libmad and the dependency can't be modulized.

FYI: removal of blcr, blcr-kmod from rawhide
by Thorsten Leemhuis
Hi!
Just FYI, I'm plan to remove blcr and blcr-kmod from the rawhide repos
if they don't get fixed soon (e.g over the next 2 days or something like
that).
Reason: blcr-kmod doesn't build for two weeks now:
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=609
Shipping a older version is useless for a kmod, so removing seems like
the best way forward. blcr depends on the kmod, so removing then seems
like the best as well -- broken deps in the release repos just create
trouble and don't help anybody.
Both packages of course can get easily get into the repos for F-11 via
the updates repos later.
