Description: This package contains various plugins for avidemux. This package is not eligible for Fedora because it links against ffmpeg. Backgound info: In avidemux 2.5, the main package now provides some shared libraries which the plugins link against at compile time. Because of this, the main package must be compiled & installed first before compiling any plugins. ffmpeg-php

Hello I am trying to package ffmpeg-php and use rpmfusion's ffmpeg package. My package compiles (and works ) fine on centos 5 when using the package from rpmforge. However, when using fedora + rpmfusion (or centos + rpmfusion), mock build fails because it does seem to not be able to locate the ffmpeg headers. package name ffmpeg-php

Hello I am trying to package ffmpeg-php but I am not sure what name should the package have. Everybody knows the application as ffmpeg-php, but current guidelines seem to imply that the package name should be php-ffmpeg-php (in which case I will add Provides: ffmpeg-php to facilitate yum searches) What do you think ? wolfy

Other emulators that are in Fedora are Atari++, Hatari and OpenMSX which do not require the original ROMs of the systems to work, but they use they own open-source reimplementation. Bye, Andrea.

Spectrum ROMs in RPM Fusion

Hi all, I'm going to submit FBZX, a Spectrum emulator, for review in Fedora. Fedora allows the packaging of Spectrum emulators but it doesn't allow Spectrum ROMs, even though they are distributable. Therefore I'll have to remove the ROMs from the tarball as it is currently done by fuse-emulator. Since there is just one Spectrum emulator in Fedora, the required ROMs are currently shipped in RPM Fusion by the package fuse-emulator-roms. My idea is to make a package called spectrum-roms and submit it for inclusion in RPM Fusion. All packaged Spectrum emulators will have to be patched to find the required ROMs under /usr/share/spectrum-roms/ and should have a README.Fedora file that should forward the user to RPM Fusion to install spectrum-roms. Probably it will also be a good idea to document this on RPM Fusion wiki. I'm going to use the same upstream Debian uses.
