Currently, s3tc is supported by libtxc_dxtn on all graphic cards which use the radeon, r200, i830 and i915 driver. Other DRI drivers are not supported, even if the hardware could do it, at least not until someone writes the code for it. libbluray / libaacs / libbdplus

Hi, libbluray is a library to access Blu-Ray disks for video playback. It is licensed under the LGPL and as such should be fine for Fedora. http://www.videolan.org/developers/libbluray.html However, this will only work with blurays not protected with either AACS or BD+. The libraries that allow to play protected blurays are libaacs and libbdplus, which can be dlopen'ed by libbluray if present. These libraries don't provide the keys needed to allow decryption, the keys file needs to be fetched elsewhere. These 2 libraries are licensed under LGPL too. Would these 2 libraries be allowed into RPM Fusion or is this materials for Livna ? This is only a theoretical question for now, as libaacs and libbdplus are not yet public but should be soon, but I thought it might worth discuss that before, given the fair amount of discussion it took to agree on what to do with libdvdcss. mock 1.1.5 builds kABI modules

Folks, Mock version 1.1.5 in Fedora 13 can finally build kABI modules without having to hack it. avidemux needs rebuilding

Hello, avideux needs to be rebuilt in rawhide to match the new x264-libs. I've rebuilt it locally. The resulting rpms work fine, but I noticed a small dependency problem: the main avidemux package has Requires %{name}-gui = %{version}-%{release} but the avidemux-gtk package does not satisfy this: Provides %{name}-gui = %{version}-%{release}.1 We need to require either just the version without the revision, or an NVR greater or equal than the base one. -- // Bernie Innocenti - http://codewiz.org/ \X/ Sugar Labs - http://sugarlabs.org/

retiring sdlmame-data-foo packages

Dear all, recently a request was filed to rename this packages to mame-data-foo [1], which has prompted me to ask myself the question: do these packages make any sense? In my opinion, they violate two of the packaging guidelines: code vs content and shipping multiple upstreams in one package. I think that sdlmame-data itself makes some sense since it enriches the experience with frontends, but others are pointless imo. Having said that, I just issued what I think will be a final update to sdlmame-data samples. Also, co-maintainers for the main sdlmame-data package are welcome.
