I was trying to get a devel build of mythtv going on the new builder
since they still appear to be failing on Jarod's builder and ran into
an issue where ./configure couldn't find qmake even though

Include the log file "config.ep" produced by configure as this will help
solving the problem.
I decided to try and reproduce the problem with a local mock build as
to not abuse the builder but had a completely different problem:

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
I'm using the mock config "fedora-rawhide-x86_64-rpmfusion_free" which
should be sufficient. Is there something wrong or that needs to be
updated in the mock configs?

update libvpx in EL6

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/755305 to request a libvpx update in RHEL
6. (I don't personally have a support contract with Red Hat, so I
don't know how much weight this will have.)

Mythtv for EL6?

I'm working on getting MythTV packages built for EL6 and wanted to
share my plan in case someone has a better idea.
I did finally get a local build but I had to rebuild several packages
that are not available in EPEL yet:
Missing dependencies for MythTV on EPEL 6.

My plan is to submit bugs to the appropriate bugzilla's for each
package and ask the current maintainer to create an EL6 branch and
offer to co-maintain it. I will also offer to maintain the EL6 branch
if necessary but I'd rather have the original maintainer keep things
up to date.
The good news is that all the packages rebuilt without modification so
there should be minimal work on the maintainers end.
Sound like a plan?

DOSEMU was available in F15 (no mention in this bug) but now it is not
available in F16. I noticed this bug was updated a few times to indicate that
some things needed to be done to get it into additional release distros, so I
hope the same can be done for F16.
I've gone ahead and installed the RPM from the F15 RPMFusion repo (x86_64) and
it appears to be working just fine, so hopefully little to no changes are
required to make it work for F16.

how do buildroot overrides work in rpmfusion

starting with next releases of gnome-mplayer and gecko-mediaplayer, they
will both need to be built against gmtk. This brings me to a question:
how do buildroot overrides work in RPM Fusion?
