[Bug 1845] Review request: miro - Internet TV Player

It only appears to link against ffmpeg, not the rest of miro, so I guess it's a stand alone binary. I'm still learning a lot about licenses, but I don't think this is "kosher". Do you know how/when/why miro-segmenter is called? Could it be packaged as a separate "utils" subpackage so the license could be marked as GPLv2? Builder1 stalled?

Nevermind, I added "export PLAGUE_CLIENT_CONFIG=~/.plague-client-rpmfusion.cfg" and it worked. I guess you need to do it all on one line unless you export the shell variable. Richard

gcc 4.7 programming question related to MythTV

I was trying to build the latest 0.24/fixes branch of MythTV and ran into an issue where many C files were using functions (usleep, write, close, gethostname, etc.) that were not available/(in scope?). It turns out that unistd.h provided these functions so I included it in all the offending files which allowed building to complete. Is there any reason this would be unsafe (or non-portable)? I've submitted a patch upstream but I'd like to get current builds out if there's no reason not to. Thanks, Richard
