Description:
PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to
emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters,
Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system
memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional
features and benefits.
The PCSX2 project has been running for more than ten years. Past versions could
only run a few public domain game demos, but newer versions can run many games
at full speed, including popular titles such as Final Fantasy X and Devil May
Cry 3. Visit the PCSX2 homepage to check the latest compatibility status of
games (with more than 2000 titles tested), or ask for help in the official
forums.
Fedora Account System Username: atim
Some notes:
* This new version from master works really well and i hope there is no issue
with license/patents.
* BIOS not included here and PCSX2 clearly says at first start that user MUST
use only their own BIOS.
* PCSX2 available on official Debian repos.

Anyone have access to a PPC64LE-based system?
by FeRD
When building on ppc64le (see e.g. this scratch build[1]), libopenshot's
unit tests fail spectacularly. Various other build issues have been
consistently cropping up on that architecture, all dutifully kludged around.
At this point, I'm far from convinced that the *library* is even remotely
usable on that platform — I suspect it may be as broken as its failing
tests indicate.
So, I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time (and quite a bit of leigh's, too)
with all of this special-casing and tweaking just trying to make the
ppc64le builds happy — if the resulting library is ultimately unusable,
then it's silly to keep doing all that, and I should just ExcludeArch it
from the build.
Problem is, I have no way of knowing!
Does anyone have, or have access to, ppc64le-based Fedora hardware that
they could install and test OpenShot on, to see if it even *works*?
Or, if you have a non-GUI host, I can scare up a libopenshot command-line
demo executable. (They're normally not packaged, for being pretty useless.)
One just loads a demo video from the library's assets dir and transcodes it
to another format. That would probably be enough to show whether the
library's doing the right things after all, or if it's horribly mangling
everything that passes through it.

About multilibs support in RPM Fusion
by Nicolas Chauvet
Hi there,
For the info, I've restored the capability to build for multilibs on
fedora 31+ (as we don't build i686 by default). There is a rfpkg
update that is been prepared by sergio to automate the appropriate
packages to be forwarded to the related koji build target.
The current packages that will build on multilibs are currently
limited to steam, libva-intel-driver and nvidia driver. If other
components are missing, please let me know.
For the long run, it's more complicated as i386 repos doesn't seem to
be published (el8) or are going to be less reliable (fedora 31+). So
instead, I envision to build using the x86_64 repos (using a x86_64
compiler and tools and i686 libraries).
For information, RHEL8 is obviously building i686 with -m32
-march=x86_64 by default, so I assume the i686 packages are already
built using a x86_64 userspace there.
I've reported this issue to mock to investigate how this can be achieved:
https://github.com/rpm-software-management/mock/issues/340
Thx

Hello to everyone!
by zawertun@gmail.com
Hello to everyone!
I'm Yaroslav Sidlovsky - software engineer from Russia, 33 y.o.
I want to add qt-heif-image-plugin to the RPM Fusion repos.
This package will allow to see previews of HEIF-images for example in Dolphin and see HEIF-images in the Gwenview.
I need sponsor as it's my first rpmfusion package.
Package review can be found here - https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5539.
