PCSXR) is an advanced PlayStation (PSX) emulator, which uses a plugin architecture to provide full support for all components of the PSX. It has full emulation support for game pads, videos, sound, memory cards, and other important PSX components, and is able to play many games without problems. Why it's not in Fedora: Emulators of video game systems seem to have legal problems, thus this excluded from the fedora repos. Note that PCSX is in the wishlist, but PCSX is no longer being developed or mantained. PCSXR on the other hand is a continuation and further development of PCSX than is being actively developed. Also note this is an svn snapshot; there is an official release for 1.9.92 but it's relatively old and the svn is fairly stable with significant improvements.
