I'm totally against workarounding the problem that way.
Until linphone can build without ffmpeg and still be usable, linphone has no
reason to be removed from fedora.
Once that said, that's only my personal opinion, and if that question is raised
publicly in fedora-devel mailing list (which could eventually prevent someone
else to take over a ffmpeg-less linphone ), I will not be against having one
single version provided by rpmfusion.
Will at up discussion in fedora-devel.
For the record, we cannot decently have the same package that comes
from both
repository because if one enable rpmfusion to install another package, it may
update linphone to the rpmfusion version either or not such update was expected
by any casual end-users. That's not acceptable at all.
My intention was to provide linphone has a as package just from rpmfussion and
remove it from fedora.
