2009/5/3 RPM Fusion Bugzilla <noreply(a)rpmfusion.org>:

Summary: Review Request: rpmfusion-remixes-kickstarts --
Kickstart files for creating distributions or remixes
with RPM Fusion packages
While trying to access the bug report,
I'm receiving:
"You are not authorized to access bug #588. "
So, until the problem is solved, here are few comments:
I'm a little chocked by the implication of this content.
I was said that rpmfusion was an additional repository for content not
acceptable within Fedora;
with the redistribution of the livecd called RPMFusion, it becomes a
fork of Fedora (even if we don't replace package from fedora itself,
in theory).
I'm just not prepared for that. So, I Don't want to prevent further
discution but at this time:
"I explicitly disagree on using the RPMFusion name to redistribute a
spin including whatever comes from both free/nonfree rpmfusion
repositories."
Once that said, redistribution of kickstart files aimed for end-users
to create a livecd for their own use remains acceptable.
We previously had a discussion on this list about Omega, which was
very badly leaded because of the misunderstanding of each other
position. I for one disagreed on using vlc of such spins for various
reasons.
But at least the Omega name doesn't clash with the RPMFusion
additional repository content.
So, as i don't want to raise a discussion that start with
agrees/disagrees and won't meant anything,I would just ask one
question:
Shall we give the illusion to provide end-users a final product, or
shall we keep the "meaning gap" of nonfree/"free but patented
software/FOSS to "educate" end-users ?
