As this post linked above talks about F-15 too, is it reasonable to
count on a release number >= 2.6.42 as F-15 futur new kernel packages?
Knowing this make it easier to build the C preprocessor macro for the
F-15/F-16 patch.

I don't know for sure, myself. But if you ask on the
fedora-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org or the
kernel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, the kernel team can probably tell you
their plans.
