The description on the wiki is wrong than?
It describes GPLv2+ as "GNU General Public License v2.0 or later"
So who's right, you or the wiki?
Kevin is correct, you're interpreting the wiki incorrectly. Basically:
GPLv2+ == "GNU General Public License v2.0 or later"
and
GPLv2 == "GNU General Public License v2.0"
These statements are not "inclusive", meaning you can't include something
GPLv2
in a GPLv2+ licensed project and still call it GPLv2+ because GPLv2 is
technically more restrictive than GPLv2+, not the other way around.
Hopefully I explained that correctly. And thank you Kevin as usual for
straightening me out!
Richard
