Is the problem that libweed is ok in Fedora proper and LiVES is not, but they
are both provided in the same source archive?
I understand that we generally should not host packages at RPM Fusion if they
qualify to be hosted in Fedora, however, it doesn't make a lot of practical
sense to take a single source archive and break it into two, not to mention
that the lives source can not reside in fedora even if you "rm -rf ..." it out
during building which means the libweed maintainer will have to pull libweed
out of the lives archive and create his own source archive.
That's not much of a technical hurdle but seems like a lot of extra steps.
Also, if there are updates to libweed which are required by a new release of
LiVES then the libweed maintainer would have to get the -devel package into
stable before LiVES on RPM Fusion could be built.
Is it not possible to make an exception?
