Well, you can always jump ship to a RHEL derivative, for example
CentOS or Scientific Linux. :)
I love RHEL and the derivatives - use CentOS on all my web servers and
heavily at work too but I think its a shame there is no viable modern
RHEL desktop distro. Fedora is great but IMO the release cycle sucks
massively if you're trying to use it as an everyday desktop to get
things done.
