I used to do it this way way, and still does for all libs except libcef.so
(part of .deb package), libcrypto and libssl. Reason is that once upon a time
(6.4.4) there was stability problems when linking to
libssl-1.0.0/libcrypto-1.0.0 instead of using the 0.9.8 versions.
Still, I see that you are not the only one doing this. Honestly, I'm not sure
what to do. Using the "real" 0.9.8 feels "safer" in a way, and since
we're
packaging a binary blob anyway... But obviously, it's an advantage to get rid
of the bundled extra libs.
