The main purpose would be so that the service file could specifically
conflict with the shutdown target. There may be other benefits, I'm
in no way a systemd expert.

we have an failure on install kmods because dnf or yum is locked by
another process, packagekitd is also capable lock dnf, so do kmod
installation on systemd service may help out , or at least report that
dnf is locked before fail. Isn't difficult lock on dnf and run akmods
in other terminal. Conclusion anything that might fix or trac down dnf
locks on akmods installation is welcome.
