About transcode and dvdrip

Hi, Forwarding from IRC to mailing list since I don't have IRC access today. I think transcode could be retired nowadays (along dvdrip) 1/ It's not maintained upstream. 2/ It lost any interest already since pvm3 support was dropped from fedora (nowadays transcoding performance are better accelerated using gpu than load distributed to many workstations). Dvdrip is only a frontend to transcode. And having transcode without pvm support already make this package pointless. So If no other component rely on them, I'm good to retired both.
