Build overrides for Fedora packages

Hi, Is it possible to ask for an override for a package in Fedora proper? Kodi 17 beta 6 requires libcec 4.0 and Fedora 25 currently ships 3.1. The libcec 4.0 update is entering[1] updates-testing now. Without an override there will be a short window where Fedora users may try to upgrade and get a dependency failure.
