Good Morning,
I created the directory on our mirror server and added it to the mirror list, but
it is not populated because rsync still seems to be down. However, I do have a question:
when the rsync server comes back up, how would you like us to throttle rsync, and when
would you like us to do the rsync? We would prefer to run the sync around 10:00 GMT (6 AM
EST) because that is when our inbound traffic is the slowest, but we could run it anytime.
For now, I have rsync capped at using 2 Mb of bandwidth, but that could be easily
adjusted to whatever is best for you.
Thank You!

Subject: mirrors
Hi!
A few people offered to become a mirror. That's great! Everyone normally
can create a mirror, as the rsync access to the master repo normally is
public (
rsync://download1.rpmfusion.org ). the rsync server is just
down right now :-/ Hopefully it's available again soon.
So if you would like to become a official mirror then I'd say this is
the best way forward:
- create a mirror
- add the mirror URL and a contact email to
http://rpmfusion.org/Mirrors
Once we set up a rough mirrorlist (see
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40 ) or a MirrorManager
we'll add your mirror or get in touch with you for further details.
Does that sound like a plan for now?
