Could you backport the -lm and the config.h license patches from the trunk?
Now, we need to set the license tag for the devel subpackage to
LGPLv2+.

I don't have a ppc/ppc64 machine. I think that the ALTIVEC question will wait
for its answer until we have someone to do the tests.
It's mean that we do not build packages for PPC and PPC64 architectures now?
