--- Comment #31 from Nicolas Chauvet <kwizart(a)gmail.com> ---
I have few problems with this spec file. This kind of miss my attention.
This package violate our founding principle
https://rpmfusion.org/FoundingPrinciples.
Quoting: "Both repositories (free/nonfree) contain only add-on packages and not
replacements in relation to the base package set. Whereby the base package set
is defined as: RHEL/CentOS + EPEL or Fedora (Fedora 7+) "
I'm about to remove theses from our repo without delay (on the next push).
I'm suggesting to rework the packaging in a way that avoid replacing base
"package". Please not that our principles doesn't forbid to replace any
library.
Here is my suggestion:
- have chromium and chromium-freeworld
- have fedora chromium install a symlink libffmpeg.so.fedora to libffmpeg.so
(same for libmedia.so). using %version.0 as priority with update-alternatives
- have rpmfusion chromium-freeworld install a libmedia.so.freeworld with
%{version}.9 as a priority with update-alternatives.
