Here is the answer from MLT developer about renaming binaries:
Citation:
If you rename executables, esp. inigo, it will break kdenlive and
confuse users. A rename is coming very soon, but I don't plan to
follow Fedora's guidelines. The next version will have this new name
(melt) and get rid of miracle in the mlt package. Maybe we can make a
change in kdenlive to use different executable names to deal with this
upcoming change and Fedora's decision to rename everything.
So, I suggest that we do not renaming MLT binaries in spec file. Kdenlive is
primary application which using MLT, and we can not allow that renamed MLT
breaks kdenlive!
This is answer about 64bit problems in MLT:
Citation:
I can add paths for ladspa 64bit plugins as already. I will also
change usage of lqt-config to pkg-config.
I will ask Den for some patches because I will not package SVN releases, only
stables!
