Yeah, this can be easily done and stay transparent for contributors.
But where is the benefit? And how do you prevent that somebody over the
next 18 days buikds something in the F-10 branch and forgets to update
the devel branch?
I'd say the ideal point for us to branch packages is when the builders
and the push scripts are actually updated and configured to build
against a different set of packages (e.g. when we have a F-10 repos and
before rawhide moves on). Before that there is no benefit.

Sure it will, but afaics branching now just creates confusion. But
whatever, I don't care much, if you really think it makes sense go ahead.
