As my perceptive is the x264 is stable enough (no API / ABI will break)
, as upstream says clearly that code is stable, tested and have the
same API, more than use any tool of ABI compatibility ( we should have
much to talk about this tools ) I use it in my system since one month
ago .
One of my missions here is maintain updated some libraries when
principal maintainer doesn't have time , in this case is x264. And

and yes is a bug fix release and is 4 months of code, help us on
consolidate (integrated) the code, if everyone test the same version
will be more easy find bugs.
And I'm upset with your decision of untagged x264-0.148-
15.20170121git97eaef2.fc25 and not publish it in updates-testing.
I'm thinking in make a repo myself with fixes (like russianfedora-
fixes) , I'm upset because I spend a lots of energy for nothing , you
ask me for testing , I do my best and you can't point me nothing about
bad updates, 99% of extras tests that you ask, reveles a waste of time
.
I'm upset because you wrote "last update broke some packages" in [1]
when we update ffmepg 3.1 to F24 but doesn't broke anything (so far) ,
we just miss the rebuild of kodi, unfortunately I wrote in a thread
and Michael read in other and was fixed very quickly, I even doubt that
anyone has had any problem (except Michael).
Like I was unfair to Hans when he update all gstreamer stuff for F25 ,
on the eve of the F25 launch, gstreamer is working and is updated.
If you forgot update x265 for example in F25 , why all people have to
wait 6 months for next release ?
And I will leave the project , because you don't have the right to
untag my build without any justification. You got one open bug report.
The x264 is compatibly , so I'm not breaking any Fedora policy and
RPMFusion isn't your project , is our project , I waste lots of time to
keep RPMFusion alive , so the merits aren't all yours.
