Beside lame, there are several other packages that could be moved from
RPM Fusion to Fedora proper, as both mp3 decoding and encoding are now
cleared from potential patent issues.
Here's what a quick search gives :
cAudio-freeworld.src : MP3 support for cAudio
lame.src : Free MP3 audio compressor
libmp3splt.src : Libraries for the mp3Splt project
mp3diags.src : Find and fix Problems in MP3 Files
mp3fs.src : FUSE filesystem to transcode FLAC to MP3 on the fly
mp3gain.src : Lossless MP3 volume adjustment tool
mp3splt-gtk.src : Gtk frontend for mp3splt
mp3splt.src : A Free, command-line, AlbumWrap and mp3wrap file exctractor
vdr-mp3.src : Sound playback plugin for VDR
Please note the list is possibly wrong because of dependencies on other
RPM Fusion packages (vdr-mp3 ?) and is also probably missing some
packages, but that should be a good starting point.
