Re: Bundled libs found in sox-plugins-freeworld (and therefor sox in Fedora)

While getting my package reviewed[1] it was discovered that sox is bundling two libraries, libgsm and lpc10. libgsm is already available so we're using the configure option to use the system installed library and patching around configure still looking for the directory (since it's now removed in %prep) lpc10 is another problem all together. There doesn't appear to be an upstream for it although the spandsp-devel package provides the header it doesn't appear to supply the library (unless it's statically linked into the main library). The sox project has modified their bundled version of lpc10 so I guess I'm asking if we can consider it a fork and leave it alone?
