Since we already have unrar which is almost free software (weird license) and
which does the most important thing: unpacking rar files, I'm not in favor of

Just to be sure we are all in line: We don't differentiate the different
levels of "non-free" in the nonfree repo, hence shareware like rar in
generals is something we would accept there, correct?
But sure, if no one wants to maintain the rar package then let's just
drop it. :-)
