FWIW - I'm focusing on mplayer deps as that's my main use from rpmfusion.
On a second thought, it might be possible to have ffmpeg-2.8x as
ffmpeg-compat and build the current ffmpeg 3.1x as ffmpeg as the
libraries have SONAME bumped, they should co-exist.
The main problem will be not to mix ffmpeg symbols from two differents
SONAME in a same process. With vlc and koji involded, it might be hard
to archeive...
