Thanks, the specfile is good now. However the names of some of the
.pc files
bother me:
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/data.pc
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/effects.pc
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/pdnlib.pc
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/resources.pc
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/stylusreader.pc
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/systemlayer.pc
Some of these filenames are too generic. Shall we put a prefix on them? I
wonder why upstream picked such filenames.
What do the other people think about this?
These look far too generic to me too. However, users of these files (other
packages that depend on this one?) would expect them to have these names and
would fail to build if they were renamed. It would definitely be best if this
naming was fixed upstream and only if that isn't possible consider a different
solution (perhaps putting the .pc files in a different directory and require
dependent packages to set PKG_CONFIG_PATH to find them?).
