The Source is wrong. There is no tarball by that name. Please fix this. Also, there's no need to include the git snapshot portions, since there are stable tarball releases available.

I use the ppa link because it is used for rc too I may add another if to use the "official" tarball

As for the git snapshots, it seems to me that it would be better to rely on applying patches to the previous stable release than pulling git snapshots regularly.

Update to 0.4.2.1, Bugfix release

Upstream now installs liblightspark.so.0.4.2 to (fixed) /usr/lib/lightspark. Besides the fact that thus the current specfile doesn't build on x86_64, that's bad from a multilib point of view. Furthermore, the library isn't found at runtime. This is irrelevant here, you use flashblock or whatever the equivalent is on other browsers.

To give some context, I'm coming from a University setting with 1000+ Fedora workstations and over 3000 users. Gnash is out of the question for us (stability and support costs) but we are finding lightspark promising. Flashblock etc. isn't really an option for us either as it asks things of the users. Easy enough for us to patch out the gnash requirement and put it in a local repo though. Gnash is necessary for complete youtube support since lightspark doesn't support avm1 swfs. I agree it shouldn't depend on it. I removed gnash long ago as its a CPU hog. I agree it shouldn't depend on it. I removed gnash long ago as its a CPU hog. If the person wants open flash support for older videos its likely they'll already have it installed.
